The Harvard case study puts some research into what most people know already-- that goal setting works. Which begs the question, as goal setting is so wide-spread and well-known, why do more people not take advantage of its obvious benefits?

From my experience most people don't know how to set goals properly. During their first few misguided attempts they don't see the results they desire and then decide to discard the process entirely.

Alex Work
YourGoalBook.com

Re: Samantha Gardner also a Featured Good Day Mompreneur

It was great doing this interview with you Samantha!!

Deborah

Re: Unclutter Your Life and Business by Going Inside the Car…

Samantha,

Thanks for writing this post , i find the information that you have shared of great value to the people that i connect with and going to pass this on to my tribe. Just haven't taken the plunge as of yet.

My dilemma? Because I'm such a "pack rat" by nature when it comes to books, how would I ever overcome my experience of reading a book. You see, I enjoy the smell of the pages and the feel of the cover while I throw myself into the storyline.

But I think sanity will rule because my bookshelf can only handle so many books and I like your recommendation of sharing the joy of reading with others.

Needless to say, not if but when I purchase my first Kindle, I can thank your post here for inspiring me

Thanks Samantha

Kevin
Promethean Life

Re: Email Inbox Overload (Haaaa!) – Unclutter the Overwhelm of Email – Day 8 of the Unclutter Your Life and Business Challenge

Hi Samantha, Great tips!
I really had a tough time dealing with email overload, until I found www.taroby.com an effective web based email management solution which helped me bring the total email volume in my inbox by about 75%. Some good Email Filtering techniques and rules did the trick for me. I'm able to view all my email accounts in one place, without being overwhelmed or stressed. Do check it out!
Hope it will come in handy for you, as well :)

Re: Email Inbox Overload (Haaaa!) – Unclutter the Overwhelm of Email – Day 8 of the Unclutter Your Life and Business Challenge

Hi Samantha
Some great tips you share! The overload is really becoming overloading :)

I use outlook and have devised a cool system for incoming emails as follows: deal with it now if its quick or leave in inbox for same day action, delete it immediately, or file it in one of my clearly marked folders in outlook such as 'Admin' or 'Projects'

I've found that way I check all my email at once but am able to have a clean inbox everday but still go back when I'm ready, to emails for specific projects. Before I did this my inbox was an overflowing nightmare!

Thanks for the tips. Keep em coming :)

Re: Unclutter Your Life and Business – Day 1 – Passwords, Logins and Domains Oh My!

What about Sticky Password as a password manager?
